Proficiency test for the dimensional measured variable: Manual measuring equipment
A proficiency test is carried out in the area of hand-held measuring equipment for the following calibration items:
- Digital caliper: 150 mm
- Digital outside micrometer: 0 - 25 mm
- Outside micrometer: 25 - 50 mm
- 3-line micrometer: 12 - 16 mm
- External quick switch: 0 - 30 mm
The calibration items must be calibrated in accordance with the relevant VDI guidelines (see description) at 20°C. The assigned reference values are determined using the weighted average of all participant results from the accredited calibration laboratories.
Schedule and procedure:
Expression of interest: until February 12, 2024
Planned start ring comparison: April 2024
The proficiency test takes place in a ring-shaped manner, whereby a calibration is carried out in the pilot laboratory at least before and after the calibrations of the participants. Each participating laboratory has two calendar weeks to carry out the calibration and is responsible for the insured forwarding of the calibration items. An exact schedule will be sent to the participating laboratories before the start.
Are you interested in our next ring comparison? Then fill out the contact form below by February 12, 2024. We will then send you a non-binding offer. Participation is only binding once the offer has been accepted and an order confirmation has been sent.
Note: A minimum number of eight participating laboratories is required to carry out this interlaboratory comparison.
